As a translator, I work with written documents.

I translate from English and Italian into French, my mother tongue.

I have been based in Rome for five years, a part-time employee of an international information agency, ZENIT, where I mainly translate pontifical speeches and those from representatives of the Holy See throughout the world. I also translate articles from L’Osservatore Romano or any other article concerning the Church and the world.

As I specialise in religious subjects, I am naturally let to translate allied topics – theology, ethics, sociology and philosophy, international relations and sometimes juridical and economic topics.

As an independent translator, I have worked for, among others, the following:

For six years I previously managed the translation service for the Emmanuel Community (in 60 countries). I needed to make sure that deadlines were respected and that the translations were of the required standard.  I was also responsible for formation courses for leaders, for the administration of a web-site for learning on the internet, the supervision of its teachers and participants and in the organisation of seminars, etc.

  • Translation and interpreting of the acts of a colloquium on the social doctrine of the Church;
