With great professionalism, Hélène Ginabat translated a number of rather technical theological texts from English and Italian into French, for the seminars organized every two years by the Institut Universitaire Pierre Goursat, in collaboration with the Redemptor Hominis Institute of the Lateran Pontifical University. The participants of these seminars (2012, 2014 and 2016) unanimously appreciated her work.
Hélène has worked as a translator for Zenit.org information agency since 2012. The subjects are sometimes difficult and may require specific knowledge in a variety of fields: legal texts, economics, bioethics, theology, relationship between different religions – particularly with Judaism – international documents of the Holy See to the UN, the Council of Human Rights, the OSCE, and various international organizations, etc. Her main qualities are accuracy and speed – with the ability to indicate when a passage is debatable – initiative, perseverance (some texts are very long), memory and ability to work in a team.
